Ring samosa recipe-Samosa is a very popular snack or appetiser prepared with maida dough and filling from potatoes, onions, meat peas or lentils. There are many shapes can be found in the preparation of samosa based on the regions and this ring samosa recipe is also one of them prepared in India. Samosa is probably the most fast selling snack all over.

- Make ready Dhogh ingredients
- Prepare 2 cup plain flour
- Get 1 tbsp Ghee

- Take 1 tbsp Oil
Chicken masala wrapped in a dough and fried till crispy, The outside layer is crispy with the delicious chicken masala inside. Usually samosas are shaped as triangles however the usual samosa dough can be rolled as logs and they are called as rolls. Since my theme for this week is a dish with different shape i decided to go with an interesting shaped samosas. And here comes the ring shaped samosas which call for usual samosa dough and a delicious vegetable stuffing.
Steps to make Ring Samosa:
- Dough: - Take a bowl, add plain flour, salt, cumin and mix well - Then add Ghee mix it and water as you required and knead it well (dough should not be soft) and cover with lid and rest it.
- Filling: - Take a pan, add oil and then add onion and slightly fry it, then add green chilli stir it well, then add salt, red chilli powder, ajwain, coriander seeds and stir it well and then add boiled potato and mashed it well and stir it on medium flame for 5 minutes and then turn off the flame. - Now Stuffing is ready.
- Ring Samosa folding: - Now make small balls of the dough and then take a ball and rolling it and then place some potato stuffing and half roll it and then cut the remaining bread, rotate the roll into ring shape and bind it with flour paste(add some water into plain flour and mix it) - Follow this and make all ring Samosas.
- Now take a karahi and add oil and preheated it normally not too hot. - After that deep fry them until they becomes into golden brown colour.
- Now our delicious crispy ring samosas are ready. Serve with Samosa chutney and enjoy it.
Samosas: Roll the puff pastry out slightly, to flatten the seams. Aloo Samosa is one of the most popular North Indian snack. Giving it a Ring shape makes it more attractive.
